We advised Combiwood on a major restructuring process

We advised companies belonging to Combiwood group on a major restructuring process where the holding company acquired the shareholdings of the group companies.

Combiwood group is a network of Estonian timber industry companies, mainly engaged in the export of timber products to Scandinavia.

We provided assistance with analysis of the legal options in the intra-group restructuring process, and selection of the most effective way to achieve the desired solution and implemented the project. In addition to our attorneys, the KPMG Baltics team (for the valuation of transferred shares) and KPMG tax advisors were involved in the project.
