The Legal 500: KPMG Law is among the finest law firms

In the new 2023 edition of the prestigious international legal directory The Legal 500, KPMG Law attracts attention once again. For nearly 30 years, the publication has conducted independent legal market research in more than 100 countries to select outstanding law firms and lawyers. The best are selected on the basis of information provided by law firms, feedback from clients and competitors, and information gathered by assessors with extensive legal experience.
KPMG Law is among the best in Estonia in all of our focus areas, i.e. banking, financial and capital markets law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), company and employement law, intellectual property, IT, data protection and tax law.

Karin Oras, KPMG Law’s Managing Partner and Head of Legal Services; Katri Remmelgas, attorney in the field of banking, finance and capital markets; Sandra Metsamärt, attorney in the field of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and company law; Kaia Kuusler, attorney-at-law in the field of company and employment law, and Urmas Kukk, attorney-at-law in the field of intellectual property, IT and data protection, have been featured by name. KPMG’s taxation area – its head Joel Zernask and experts Maike Leppik, Merike Oja and Einar Rosin – were also praised. In the autumn of 2022, Triin Antsov, an attorney-at-law in transaction consultation, who was already pointed out and mentioned in 2019 in connection with KPMG Law’s practice in the area of company law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), rejoined KPMG Law’s team.

We would especially like to thank our clients for their trustful and pleasant cooperation.
It is a pleasure to read their feedback:
Sandra Metsamärt has been very quick in responses, very committed and professional in her work. Highly recommendable.
KPMG Law’s team is proactive and they understand our complex needs. It was the introduction of a highly complex insurance product in Estonia.
Billing is great. Dynamical options. People communication is on point.
They analyse fully my problem and try to help me as fast as possible with every outcome that there is.
KPMG has a good teamwork and process flows. Also positive team spirit is great to acknowledge.
Individuals we have worked with are very professional, take a lot of interest in our business operations and we feel a great support in achieving a common goal.
