KPMG Law Firm in Estonia has been ranked among the top firms in one of the most prominent legal directories in the world, The Legal 500 Estonian rankings for 2015 published recently. According to the general market overview provided by The Legal 500, KPMG Law Firm in Estonia is one of the new sources of competition for more senior firms in the market. At the same time it is the only Big Four branded law firm referred to in The Legal 500 Estonian rankings.
The Legal 500 recommends KPMG Law Firm in the following fields:

- Corporate and M&A (http://www.legal500.com/c/estonia/corporate-and-manda).
- Three out of the four attorneys working at the law firm have been mentioned in the directory. The Legal 500 recommends Risto Agur, the founder and head of the firm, as well as Karen Root, specialising in corporate law and M&A, and points out Veiko-Joel Kokk, specialising in banking and finance law.

KPMG Law Firm in Estonia was established in October 2013. However, by August next year already, the team had an impressive list of clients including PostNord Logistics, Longa Properties, Tallink Grupp, and others. Their achievements include advising several complex and high-worth transactions such as Alfons Håkans’ acquisition and financing of its takeover of shipping company AS PKL (one of the largest M&A transactions in the Baltics in 2013 -2014), and others.
